FOIA request, this is the FBI Agents’ “bible.” Contains guidelines for
identification, arrest, interrogation procedures (including the discouraging of
tape recording of interviews with suspects and witnesses), retention of
handwritten notes, etc. This edition replaces the 1998 version. Manual
chapters cite to specific chapters in the comprehensive Manual on Investigative
and Operational Guidelines (MIOG).
